About Us - Connectex IT Consulting

Matt McLaughlin opened Connectex IT Consulting in 2000. Prior to starting Connectex, he worked as a computer operator, programmer, and consultant. The consulting firms he worked at focused on serving larger companies. They did have some smaller clients. He noticed the smaller clients would often be scheduled last and be sent the “new” guy or the least experienced technician. The best technicians were reserved for the top tier and best paying clients. These smaller clients were used as a proving ground. He thought they deserved better so he started Connectex. Connectex focuses exclusively on the small and medium business market. We primarily serve the central Indiana region (including Indianapolis, Anderson, Muncie, Columbus, and Fort Wayne).
